Program starts in the first week of March every year and runs through the end of October at Linnaea Farm, Cortes Island, BC Registration Fee: $100.00 Tuition: $2500.00 Materials Fee: $600.00 (includes shared tools, seeds, greenhouse use, etc.) Administration Fee: $255.00
Target Audience:
Individuals 17 years and older who are interested in immersion in a functional land-stewardship community. Those who seek a sustainable, personal alternative to mainstream commodity-based agriculture.
Recognition Provided:
Successful graduates recieve a certificate of completion of the Linnaea Ecological Gardening Programme and a Permaculture Design Certificate.
Method of Instruction:
On-site/On-farm
3 weekly lectures 3 half-days in the Production Garden - hands-on instruction in a functioning 30-Box CSA and market garden. 3 half-days in individual Garden Plots with one-on-one instructor support. 1 half day Permacuture outing.
